Bonds in Gold

Die Fachwelt war sich einig: Dies war der eindrucksvollste Siegerhengst aller DSP-Körungen seit ihrem Bestehen! Souverän beherrschte BONDS IN GOLD das Geschehen der DSP-Hengsttage 2025 in München-Riem und war international heiß umworben. Im Großformat eines Hauptbeschälers stehend, typstark und bedeutend aufgemacht, verfügt er über ein herausragendes Grundgangarten-Arrangement mit erstklassiger Hinterhandsaktivität.

Der Vater Bonds war Siegerhengst der Oldenburger Hengsttage 2015 in Vechta und später mit Beatrice Hoffrogge erfolgreich in S-Dressuren. Inzwischen wurden 25 seiner Söhne gekört, darunter mehrere Prämienhengste. Der Muttervater Goldberg war Reservesieger der Westfalenkörung 2013. Er hat Prix St. Georges gewonnen, und ist aktuell unter Sophie Luisa Dien international erfolgreich im Juniorensport. Zehn Söhne erhielten bisher auf deutschen Körplätzen die Zuchtzulassung, etliche Nachkommen sind S-erfolgreich. Die Großmutter Prime Time brachte drei gekörte Söhne, u. a. den Schimmel Bloomingdale (v. Belantis I, Prämienhengst Schaufenster der Besten 2022, Bundeschampionatsfinalist 2022, Ldb. Celle), DSP Don Royal (v. Don Juan de Hus, Ldb. Neustadt/D., Siegerhengst DSP-Körung Schaufenster der Besten 2016) und Don Henley (v. Duvalier). Ihr Vater Rubin Royal war I a-Hauptprämienhengst, internationaler Grand Prix-Sieger unter Hendrik Lochthowe und belegte über Jahre einen vorderen Platz in der WBFSH-Weltrangliste Dressur. Die Urgroßmutter Primadonna brachte zwei gekörte Hengste, u. a. Caprigold (v. Caprimond/T., Ldb. Neustadt/D., PB AUT, Siegerhengst Körung Neustadt/D. 1996, DRE M) und Frühtau (v. Frühlingsbote; Ldb. Neustadt/D., SPR S)  und fünf weitere sporterfolgreiche Nachkommen, u. a. Poesie (v. Brentano II), die ihrerseits die Stuten Poetin I (Bundeschampionesse 2000 u. 2003, Weltmeisterin junge Dressurpferde 2003), Poetin II-VI und die Hengste Samba Hit I-V lieferte, ferner die Bundessiegerstute 2002, Prima Ballerina (v. Lord Sinclair I, erf. PSG/IM I mit Carolin Thurner), Lokal Matador (v. Lord Sinclair I; erf. PSG/IM I Isabelle Sachs) und Prima Vera 16 (v. Askari; SPR S). Bonds in Gold repräsentiert den nur als sagenhaft zu bezeichnenden Brandenburger Stamm 47/Pauline von Dargardt, woraus 70 gekörte Hengste hervorgingen, u. a. Belantis I u. II, Debüt, Element of Crime, Ouadroneur I und II, Quaterback, Santo Domingo I und II sowie Sommerhit, ferner die Siegerinnen der Elitestutenschau Brandenburg-Anhalt 2009 Paola I (v. Lord Loxley), 2016 Phantastica (v. Don Juan de Hus, DSP-Stute des Jahres 2018) und 2017 Paola II (v. Lord Loxley), das international erfolgreiche Dressurpferd Pathetique (v. Quaterback) mit Stefan Lehfellner (AUT) bzw. Dorothee Schneider und das international erfolgreiche Springpferd Cera 77 (v. Chap I) mit Felix Ewald und Denise Svensson (SWE).

The experts were unanimous: this was the most impressive winning stallion of all DSP stallion approvals since their inception! BONDS IN GOLD dominated the action at the 2025 DSP Stallion Days in Munich-Riem and was hotly contested internationally. Standing in the large format of a main stallion, with a strong type and significant conformation, he has an outstanding basic gaits arrangement with first-class hindquarters activity.

His sire Bonds was the champion stallion at the 2015 Oldenburg Stallion Days in Vechta and was later successful in advanced (S) level dressage competitions with Beatrice Hoffrogge. In the meantime, 25 of his sons have been licensed, including several premium stallions. The dam's sire Goldberg was reserve champion at the 2013 Westphalian licensing, has won Prix St. Georges and is currently internationally successful in junior sport under Sophie Luisa Dien. Ten sons have been approved for breeding at German licensing so far, and several offspring are successful at advanced (S) level. The granddam Prime Time produced three licensed sons, including the grey Bloomingdale (by Belantis I, premium stallion Schaufenster der Besten 2022, Bundeschampionat finalist 2022, Ldb. Celle), DSP Don Royal (by Don Juan de Hus, Ldb. Neustadt/D., Champion Stallion DSP Licensing Showcase of the Best 2016) and Don Henley (by Duvalier). Her sire Rubin Royal was a I a main premium stallion, international Grand Prix winner under Hendrik Lochthowe and occupied a top position in the WBFSH World Dressage Ranking for many years. 

The great-granddam Primadonna produced two licensed stallions, including Caprigold (by Caprimond/T., Ldb. Neustadt/D., PB AUT, Champion Stallion Neustadt/D. 1996, DRE M) and Frühtau (by Frühlingsbote; Ldb. Neustadt/D., SPR S) and five other successful offspring, including Poesie (by Brentano II), who in turn produced the mares Poetin I (Bundeschampionesse 2000 and 2003, World Champion Young Dressage Horse 2003), Poetin II-VI and the stallions Samba Hit I-V, as well as the 2002 Bundessieger mare, Prima Ballerina (by. Lord Sinclair I, experienced PSG/IM I with Carolin Thurner), Lokal Matador (by Lord Sinclair I; experienced PSG/IM I Isabelle Sachs) and Prima Vera 16 (by Askari; SPR S). Bonds in Gold represents the Brandenburger Stamm 47/Pauline von Dargardt line, which can only be described as legendary, from which 70 licensed stallions have emerged, including Belantis I and II, Debüt, Element of Crime, Ouadroneur I and II, Quaterback, Santo Domingo I and II and Sommerhit, as well as the winners of the 2009 Brandenburg-Anhalt Elite Mare Show Paola I (by. Lord Loxley), 2016 Phantastica (by Don Juan de Hus, DSP Mare of the Year 2018) and 2017 Paola II (by Lord Loxley), the internationally successful dressage horse Pathetique (by Quaterback) with Stefan Lehfellner (AUT) and Dorothee Schneider and the internationally successful show jumper Cera 77 (by Chap I) with Felix Ewald and Denise Svensson (SWE).
